Super Intelligent! Chip is a “braniac” & often learns behaviors after being shown just once! He plays the piano, opens the mailbox & retrieves mail, answers & retrieves a ringing telephone, dances, does distant commands, bows, sits pretty, does sends/go outs, jumps hoops over my back, helps “extinguish fires!” (See videos). Also, retrieved and presented the dumbbell from the day I brought him home at 9 weeks!
 

 

Intensely Driven w/proven athletic capabilities. A more “drivey” dog does NOT exist! At just 4.5 yrs old, Chip has already earned 102 titles/awards, including titles in AKC/UKC/IABCA/DMWYD in: Conformation, Dock Diving, Lure Coursing, Weight Pull, Trick Dog, Stunt Dog, Agility, Obedience, Rally, Nose Work, Canine Good Citizen, Herding, & Barn Hunt! Soundness: Chip is fine with other animals, and is especially good/gentle with kids & small pets, including: male & female dogs, cats, etc. Chip is Farm Dog Certified (FDC titled); plus, has earned the following AKC & UKC Canine Good Citizen Titles: AKC ATT, CGC, CGCA, CGCU, VHM, and SPOT-ON titles! He has earned the American Temperament Test Society (ATTS) TT (temperament) title. He is part of AKC's "PupPals" program, helping to uplift spirits of children who need it! Chip is happy & smiling most all the time & likes to perform tricks for kids!
 

 

My favorite things about Chip:

Chip has natural (uncropped) & compact/small ears that are set & carried perfectly in alert rose petals (no cropping or taping needed), he has nice rear end assembly with good rear hock angulation, well-balanced with nice proportions, nice wide skull & muzzle, nice top line, proper tail length & set. Gorgeous, rich dark fawn color with black mask (dark pigment undertone). Muscular. Good skin with no allergies or skin issues that plague many short-haired breeds. Beautiful, shiny coat with deep, gorgeous, dark fawn color. Chip has High intelligence (& learns many tricks on first or second attempt) & Chip is Full of personality! He is a happy boy who LOVES to learn & perform & is comical! Quite the ham & likes when the audience claps for him! ❤️
